Ms. Swift is an Associate in the Firm's labor and employment group. She concentrates her practice in representation of private and public sector employers in labor and employment matters. Ms. Swift's experience includes defense of employers in federal and state courts in cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, and other employment issues. She has represented employers in administrative proceedings before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights and the New York State and United States Departments of Labor. She also counsels clients on personnel policies and procedures related to hiring, discipline and termination, employee leave issues and reasonable accommodation and on compliance with state and federal employment law including wage and hour laws, anti-discrimination laws, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family Medical Leave Act and the Americans With Disabilities Act.
