Patrick A. Quinlan is an associate in the Firm's Intellectual Property practice group. He concentrates his practice in all areas of patent and trademark prosecution and litigation as well as validity and infringement opinions, licensing, terms and conditions and settlement agreements.
Mr. Quinlan’s experience covers a wide variety of technologies from communications networks, software, database systems, and computer architectures, to electric motors, batteries, medical devices, and three-dimensional rendering. He has represented clients of various sizes, from established corporations to emerging start-ups.

Prior to pursuing his law degree, Mr. Quinlan served as a software engineer for Northrop Grumman Corporation, where he collaborated on the design and implementation of custom software applications used by the Department of Defense and NATO allies. Mr. Quinlan began his legal career at Hamilton, Brook, Smith & Reynolds, P.C. in Concord, Massachusetts.
