Melinda G. Disare is a Partner in the Firm's Labor and Employment practice group. Prior to joining the Firm, she was a Partner at Damon Morey, LLP. She concentrates her practice in the representation of public and private employers in connection with labor relations and employment issues including labor arbitrations, collective bargaining negotiations, as well as in wage and hour and employment discrimination matters. She has appeared before the National Labor Relations Board, the Public Employment Relations Board, the New York State Division of Human Rights, the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York State and United States Departments of Labor, The New York State Department of Health, as well as various state and federal courts.

Ms. Disare also provides counsel in all aspects of labor and employment law and advises clients with respect to federal and state employment law such as anti-discrimination laws, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Taylor Law, the National Labor Relations Act and the State Employment Relations Act.

Ms. Disare is a frequent lecturer on a full range of labor issues at seminars  sponsored by organizations such as the Cornell School of Industrial and Labor Relations, the Labor and Employment Relations Association, the Society for Human Resource Management, the Niagara Frontier Corporate Counsel Association, the Medical Group Management Association, the Bar Association of Erie County, the New York State Medical News, the Western New York Chapter of the National Association of Church Business Administrators as well as at the University at Buffalo School of Law and Buffalo State Teacher's College.  She has also been a featured guest on WNED's “Law Line” radio program.
